Art Greenberg

Art has a wealth of knowledge in industrial electrochemistry, batteries and energy storage, coatings, and technology startups.​
​Experienced senior P&L manager of a technology-oriented business-to-business manufacturing company focused on creating organic growth, leading culture change, continuous improvement, quality, innovation, and new product development. He has made an impact working with Diamond Shamrock, SICO Industries, Hall Chemical, Harshaw Chemical, various startups.

Brian Lane

Brian has a strong engineering background with over 40 years of experience in a number of industries, including 30 years in filtration where he is the named inventor on 12 international patents.
An experienced global executive, Brian's career is distinguished by his role in the successful transformation of Parker Hannifin’s Global Filtration Business which, during his 12 years tenure as Vice President of Engineering, Technology and Innovation, more than doubled it’s revenue whilst significantly increasing profitability. 

​Carla McBain

Carla puts her focus on product platform development based on customer future needs, voice of customer, product definition, process scale-up, emulsion polymers, project management, portfolio management, innovations, modeling, six sigma and lean methodologies.
Skilled in technical development of new products and processes of polymers for specialties products ranging from construction, adhesives, nonwovens, textiles and coatings. This includes the development of new characterization methodologies and testing in screening in final product applications as related to basic polymer structures and translated to actual manufactured articles performance.

​Gareth Morris-Stiff

Gareth is a forward thinking accomplished surgeon with 28 years of postgraduate experience and specific expertise in hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) surgery (diseases of the liver, pancreas, and gallbladder), latterly primarily focused on the treatment of patients with cancer of these organs. Comprehensive general surgical training and well versed in the diagnostic evaluation and management of the full spectrum of acute and elective pathologies. Broad understanding of the medical literature in general and in-depth knowledge of oncology, molecular biology, transplantation, and immunology.

Gordon Schorr

Gordon is passionate about bringing natural and logical networks together to make others successful  with strategic leadership of chemical and elastomer division; directing marketing, supply chain, manufacturing, engineering, and R&D activities.
35 Years within Goodyear Chemical (the for-profit arm of Goodyear Tire); polymer manufacturing (Texas and France), R&D (staff of 25); Marketing for $380M global polymer business; Intellectual Asset Management and Strategic Development. Joined like-minded industry visionaries at University of Akron Research Foundation 2005. Founding member of ARCHAngel (Akron Regional Change Angel) Investment Network, President of University Innovation Ventures, CEO of Akron Device Technologies, Partner in RooBrew LLC, and a leadership role in a number of diverse enterprises and regional initiatives.

 Matt is currently that Chief Strategy Officer at Bert Thin Films, LLC.

​Terry Brizz

Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship at Baldwin-Wallace College
Brizz is an adjunct professor of entrepreneurship at Baldwin-Wallace University and a senior fellow at the University of Akron I-Corp Program. He was also awarded the 1997 Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year and the 1998 State of Ohio Entrepreneur of the Year honor. In retirement, Brizz plans to continue his involvement with both universities along with charitable endeavors.
